MEET OUR FOUNDER ....... ROBERT (BOB) KING
If Bob’s life could be described with a single word, it would be “leadership.” As far back as high school, in which he served in student government, and his military service, Bob has been a leader. During officer training with the U.S. Army, Bob finished first in the field exercises and second overall in his class. For his leadership during his tour of duty, he received a special letter of commendation. In his subsequent professional life, Bob has held numerous leadership roles, not the least of which has been growing his own successful corporation. He has now devoted himself to the development of effective, responsible leaders because, in his words:
“I have seen the great human and economic toll of irresponsible or ineffective leadership - either in leading one’s own life or in leading a team of any size or complexity. The greatest need the world has today is for effective, responsible leadership.”
In 1971, Bob founded Robert King and Associates, Inc. (RKAI), a management consulting and training firm. Bob is recognized as one of the most creative minds in the profession. His original materials and programs are tailored for today’s fast paced, competitive, talent-scarce, and time-pressured environment. Clients universally praise his customized programs.
Bob has conducted training programs both domestically and internationally.
In addition to being president of RAKI, Bob is a member of the board of directors of several organizations and a featured speaker at regional, national, and international meetings and conventions. He became a member, by invitation, of the prestigious International Platform Association.

Bob started selling door-to-door when he was 15 and worked his way through college. He graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Engineering Physics degree. He has also completed post-graduate training at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and the University of Southern California (USC).
